I HAVE SOLVED THE MYSTERY OF THE NETWORK.
I got Netty to connect to the wireless network! Internet + working keyboard = YEAH! Ahem. I am in the middle of a dinner/celebration with my extended family right now, but the solution clicked and I had to test it. It works!
